A very fine French minute repeating hunting cased pocket watch with chronograph, circa 1900.
18 carat rose gold, tiered, polished “à goutte” case with numbered and signed gold dome, pusher for chronograph at “12” and slide for repeating mechanism. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and blued spade hands. Bridge movement, frosted, gilt, with finely ground chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever.
