A very rare Martin-Martine type figured automaton Jaquemart with eccentrical decentralized dial and repeating hours and quarters, circa 1820.
Very beautiful original silver case with reeded mid section, signed dome and engraved hunting scene on back; verge movement with repeating hours and quarters and figured automaton; decentralized white eccentrical dial with Roman numerals, gold Breguet hands, figured automaton with multicolored gold figures and bells and solid silver relief so-called “Martin-Martine-Type”. Dome an dial signed. Comes with, probably, original silver key.
