Pocket watch with a decentralised dial

An excellently preserved gold and enamel lépine pocket watch with a decentral dial, made in France circa 1820. The extra thin and very fine enamel case, which is crafted from 18 carat gold, is in fantastic condition, has the case maker’s punch “AR” and the French 18K gold punch Paris 1819-1838. The decentralised engine turned silver dial features Roman hour numerals and gold Breguet hands. The extra thin movement is fitted with a cylinder escapement.
