Gold and enamel open faced lady’s watch

A small French 18 carat gold and enamel keywinding lady’s pocket watch, made by Le Roy in Paris, circa 1820. Directoire pocket watch made for the Turkish market. The case back is painted in enamel on gold, with a bunch of flowers in the centre on a vieux-rose background. White enamel dial with radial Turkish numerals and blued steel Breguet hands. A gilded brass movement with fusee and chain, verge escapement, monometallic balance and blued steel flat hairspring, pierced and engraved gilded continental cock. Signature on the dial, case and movement.
