Single-handed oignon with alarm and champlevé dial

A large French silver oignon verge with champlevé dial and alarm, circa 1695. Full plate fire gilt fusee movement, slender Egyptian pillars. Pierced and engraved bridge cock, three-arm steel balance with spiral blue steel hairspring. Small silver regulator disc. Champlevé dial with silver cartouches and black Roman numerals. Watch and alarm wound separately through the dial with the single blue steel hand. Deep silver metal consular case, Plain back with some circles. Separate barrel for striking.
