Open faced three tone gold verge by Morize

A French three tone gold open faced verge pocket watch, adorned with faceted rubies and accented with small turquoise cabochons, dating from circa 1819 to 1838. This watch features a verge movement. The gilded dial is partially guilloché and displays Roman numerals in relief, outer minute dots, and leaf hands. It has an 18 carat, three tone gold case, with the bezel, middle, and back finely chased with floral and foliage decorations. The back is enhanced by faceted rubies and punctuated with small turquoise cabochons. The gilt brass inner case is signed MORIZE à Paris. It is accompanied by a watch key made of 18 carat gold.
