A French verge in turquoise and ruby set open face case, circa 1830. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three-arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, blue steel Breguet hands. Gold open face case with chased and engraved middle. The matted back and bezel set with turquoise, rubies and applied gold decoration. Wound through the unusual engine turned inner dome.
