Chronograph watch with extract from the archives

An extra large gold chronograph with register and  extract from the archives, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, Germany, circa 1908. This watch features a numbered 14 carat gold case wit a monogram on the back lid. The fantastic preserved original enamel dial features an outer track with 1/5th seconds division for the chronograph, an inner minute and hour track Arabic numerals for the minutes (red) and the hours (black), a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, a 30 minute counter at 12 o’clock and blued steel hands. The high precision and very fine quality movement is fitted with a lever escapement, a rare intermediate wheel chronograph and counter, a gold escape wheel, a gold lever and a fine adjusting device.
The case and movement bear matching numbers and the dial and movement are signed.
