An impressive and extremely rare Louis XV full hunter cased pocket watch made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, Sachsen, Germany, circa 1915. The numbered case of this pocket watch is crafted from 14 carat gold, is polished and has an outer hinge. The white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, a sunk center, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold Louis XV hands. The glazed movement is numbered and has a precision lever escapement of the quality Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation Glashütte, gold lever, gold escape wheel and a fine adjusting device.
Case and movement have matching numbers, case, dial and movement are signed.
