Unusually small watch with quality 1B
–
An unusually small watch, made by A. Lange & Söhne, in Glashütte, Germany, circa 1915. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and has a monogram on the back lid. The white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The numbered movement features a very rare and extremely fine precision lever escapement in quality 1B, a minute wheel gold chaton, a fine adjusting device, a gold lever and a gold escape wheel.
The case and movement have matching numbers and dial, case and movement are signed.
