A very fine, small Glashuette hunting cased pocket watch in a pink gold case, circa 1888.
A 14 carat pink gold case with engraved monogram, enamel dial, roman numerals, subsidiary dial, 3/4 plate movement, screw compensation balance.
This striking hunting cased watch is unusual because of its size and the engraving on the gold dome tells us that it was most likely a Christmas gift – it reads “Weihnachten 1888”, i.e., Christmas.
