A heavy hunting cased quality 1A pocket watch made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, Germany, circa 1975. The case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat pink gold, is coin edged, bears makers mark CWS and is monogrammed on the front. The original white enamel dial has Roman numerals for the hours, outer minute divisions, a subsidiary dial for the seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. The movement is fitted with a quality 1A precision lever escapement, has screwed gold chatons, a diamond end stone, gold lever and gold escapement wheel.
Case and movement have matching numbers and the dial and movement are signed, the latter with the early Adolph Lange signature.
