Gold hunting cased lever watch
–
A heavy Louis XV gold hunting cased watch with stoppable, jumping second “dead seconde” by A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte, circa 1890. A 14 carat pink gold, Louis XV case, unsigned replaced case with large hinges, artfully engraved monogram TH, glazed movement, precision lever movement of 1A quality with screwed golden chatons, diamond endstone, fine adjusting device, golden lever and golden escapement wheel, signed and numbered plate, original, perfect preserved enamel dial with red minutes, original golden hands, button on the rim for the stoppable, jumping second. The watch is kept in a box, inscribed Wilhelm Suhl Kiel. We expressly point out that the case belongs to that period of time, but was not made by Lange & Söhne.
