Early and heavy 18 carat gold hunting cased Glashütte pocket watch, circa 1884. Glazed movement, Lange & Söhne precision lever movement, quality 1A with gold lever, gold escape wheel, diamond endstone, screwed gold chatons. White enamel dial (small craquelling on seconds register) with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Engine turned case. Dial and movement signed, matching numbers on case and movement. Comes with extract from the archives and original box.
