A fine, rare Franconian gentleman’s pocket watch with cylinder escapement, circa 1820.
14 carat pink gold polished case with reeded band and case maker’s punch mark “MN”. Signed enamel dial with Arabic numerals and blued arrow shaped hands. Bridge movement, keywind, with applied florally engraved ornaments, florally engraved going barrel and three arm brass balance.

Heinrich Helmreich
Probably identical with Johann Thomas Heinrich Helmreich. Helmreich was born in Fuerth and moved to Erlangen in 1786. He died in 1833.
