Oval gilt-brass pendant watch

An oval German gilt-brass pre-balance spring Renaissance verge pendant watch with one hand, circa 1600.
Gilt-brass full plate movement, barrel, stack freed, verge escapement, foliot and hog’s bristle, two-arm steel balance without balance spring.
Engraved silver dial, raised hour dots for reading the time at night, elaborately decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamel, a central vase filled with flowers and a multicoloured parrot flying in the air, one hand. Brass case with remains of fire gilding, the front has 12 apertures for reading the Roman hours I-XII and Arabic hours 13-24, the numerals inlaid with black enamel, the inside of the front cover shows remains of an engraved scale of a sundial and openings for the attachment of a compass.
