A fine and rare German, silver and gold, keyless dress watch, circa 1915. A polished case, gold hinges. Hinged silver cuvette. White enamel dial, with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. A frosted gilt movement, three-quarter plate, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, gold escape wheel and pallet fork, brass, Lange balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, diamond endstone, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 53 mm. Property of a Swedish Gentleman.
