An unusual 18K gold and enamel open faced ladies’ pocket watch with a matching brooch, circa 1900.
The case is almost spherical, the back with gold decoration on a blue guilloché enamel ground. In addition a gold and enamel brooch, also blue guilloché enamelled, with embedded gold branches with acorns and a dragonfly. A translucent blue enamel dial with gold radial Roman hours, an outer minutes track and gold Louis XV-style hands. Cylinder movement.
