A very fine 18 carat yellow gold and enamel open faced manual-winding pocket watch, circa 1790. Mechanical movement, verge escapement.
Round-shaped case, the back with a polychrome enamel scene surrounded by white enamel pearls on a blue ground depicting two women, a child playing the flute and a dog by a water pump near the riverside, the background translucent enamel. White enamel dial with painted Roman numerals.
