A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set scarab form pendant watch with brooch, circa 1890. This watch is fitted with a conforming key wound cylinder movement, jewelled through the third wheel. The scarab shaped case is realistically modelled, the spring loaded and hinged wings are blue enamelled and set with rose cut diamonds, the reverse is chased and engraved with legs and abdomen. A small concealed white enamel dial. Comes with a gold key and later brooch in the form of a scroll, decorated to match.
