A large, heavy French silver hour repeating clockwatch with self strike, circa 1810. Full plate fire gilt verge movement, pierced and engraved balance cock, repeating hours, released by small pendant button, slide in the band to block the push button, two barrels, winding for gear train, winding for repeater and self striking train, self striking hours and half hours. Screwed white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel Breguet hands. Engine turned case, maker’s punch CHFB.
