A heavy and rare Swiss 14 carat pink gold keyless open faced two-train pocket watch with alarm, circa 1890. Gilt movement, lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring.
The alarm is set by pushing the button next to the pendant. The alarm can be stopped and activated by the slide next to the dial at nine o’clock.
The case back is engine-turned with a cartouche in the middle and a hinge at the top.
White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track, decorative gold hands, subsidiary seconds and alarm dial. In excellent condition.
