A heavy numbered Geneva full hunter case pocket watch Chronomètre with chronometer escapement, made by Paul Jeannot in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1880. The numbered full hunter case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold, is engine turned on both the front and the back and on the inside and has an empty cartouche on the front lid. The champlevé enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and blued steel hands. The numbered movement has factory glazing, a very fine chronometer escapement with screwed gold chatons, 18 rubies and a special rocker.
Case movement and cuvette have matching numbers and dial and cuvette are signed.
