A very fine, heavy, Swiss hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch, circa 1890.
18-carat gold, engine-turned, à goutte case, engraved cartouche with a monogram, reeded band, numbered and signed gold dome, glazed movement, and slide for repeating mechanism. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and paste-set hands. Bridge movement, nickel-plated and ground, with two hammers / two gongs, pink gold train, screwed gold chatons, wolfteeth winding wheels, screw compensation balance, and counterpoised lever.
