Brass and silver deck chronometer by Ulysse Nardin
–
A Swiss brass and silver high-precision pocket deck chronometer, circa 1942. The watch features a brass case that is securely fixed and screwed, housing a pocket watch with a plain silver case that is also securely screwed. It is marked with a Ulysse Nardin case punch and a unique serial number. The precision of the timepiece is attributed to the calibre with Guillaume balance and a fine adjusting device. The enamel dial is elegantly signed and showcases Roman radial hours, an outer minutes/seconds track with Arabic numerals for five-minute/second intervals, a subsidiary dial for the seconds, centre seconds, and hands made of blued steel.
