A large Swiss silver keyless deck and pocket Chronometer with Guillaume balance and 40-hour power reserve indication, circa 1930. Military watch made for the Argentinean Navy. A polished case, hinged back and bezel engraved: 21558 ARMADA ARGENTINA 60044-Ci. Hinged silver cuvette with Chronometer engraving. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, large subsidiary seconds, and up-and-down indication for the power reserve at 12. Blued steel spade hands. Rhodium-plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic Guillaume compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, cuvette and movement signed.
