A very large Swiss nickel open faced eight-day lever pocket watch, circa 1900. Nickelled split three-quarter plate keyless movement with a very large going barrel, engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring, club foot lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and blue steel hands. Substantial plain case with gilt winding button and bezel fitted with a flat crystal.
