A Swiss silver open faced chronometer pocket watch, circa 1820. Half plate gilt movement, lower platform with single wheel duplex escapement, two armed bimetallic balance with a mostly discontinuous auxiliary compensation, freesprung helical blued steel balance spring with terminal curve. Silver cuvette. Silver guilloché dial, satin finished chapter ring with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Engine turned case.
