Swiss gold ball form watch with peacock motif Circa 1890

A Swiss gold, enamel and diamond set ball form pendant watch with peacock motif, circa 1890. Cylinder movement. White enamel dial and blue Arabic numerals with red 12. Ball form case with peacock feather motif, the feathers overlaid with translucent blue and green enamel and each enhanced with a single diamond accenting the ‘eye’ of the feather, the hemisphere band set with old European cut diamonds. Movement and case numbered. Completed by matching 14 carat gold and enamel brooch in the form of a peacock fanning its tail atop a diamond set branch.
