A Swiss gold, enamel and diamond set beetle form pendant watch, circa 1870. Gilt cylinder movement. Gold cuvette. Concealed white enamel dial, Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Beetle form case, hinged wings with translucent blue enamel over an engine turned ground highlighted with diamond, chased head with cabochon ruby set eyes, reverse realistically chased and engraved, inside case back with glazed oval panel.
