A Swiss/French square silver and enamel Chinese style lapel watch made by Verger Frères, circa 1925. Retailed by Black, Starr & Frost in New York, U.S.A. The nickel movement by Vacheron & Constantin with 15 jewels and a lever movement. Gilt dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track and blued steel moon hands. The red enamelled case with scroll floral and foliage decoration on the back. Movement signed Vacheron & Constantin, case signed Verger France and dial signed by the retailer. Comes with a matching gold and enamel lapel pin.
