A large and heavy Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating perpetual calendar lever chronograph with seven complications, circa 1890. Retailed by CH. Courvoisier. Movement with mechanical calibre, 36 jewels. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, chronograph scale, concentric fifths of a seconds divisions and calibrated 0-300, subsidiary dials for the months and leap-year cycle, days of the week, date, seconds with an aperture for the moon phases, lunar calendar at the edge, blued steel spade hands. Plain case with applied decoration on the front. Movement signed, cuvette and case numbered, cuvette further signed by the retailer.
