A Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced minute repeating lever pocket watch, circa 1890. Movement with mechanical calibre, 25 jewels. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, subsidiary seconds. Plain case. Movement signed, cuvette and case numbered.

In 1833, Antoine LeCoultre founded his company at the young age of 30. It was in 1903 that LeCoultre entered into a business relationship with the famous chronometer maker Edmond Jaeger. For the next thirty years, the company provided the ebauche to other manufactures such as Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Vacheron Constantin. It was in 1937 that Jaeger LeCoultre was born.
