An unusual Swiss silver open faced keyless lever watch with tourbillon, circa 1890. Full plate gilt finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance and gilt tourbillon carriage visibile through an aperture in the dial. Eccentric silvered engine turned dial with Roman numerals, surrounded by a gilt plate with engraved foliate design. Engine turned case, hinged back. Movement signed and numbered, case numbered.
