A slim Swiss gold pocket watch with digital hour diplay and thermometer, circa 1845. Retailed by Hunt & Roskell London. Gilt movement, Sylvain Mairet lever escapement with lift on the escape wheel teeth only, 15 jewels, two-arm compensation balance with gold timing screws, balance spring with terminal curve, bimetallic thermometer curve under the dial. Gold engine turned dial with hour sector and separate dials for hours and minutes, Fahrenheit thermometer scale. 18 Carat polished case. Signed under the dial, case hallmarked London 1846. With winding key.
