A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced double-dialled World Time keyless lever pocket watch with calendar and moon phases, circa 1890. Lever movement. White enamel dial on the front made for Greenwich Time with Roman hours, outer minute track, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the date and the months combined with constant seconds and an aperture for the moon phases at 12 o’clock. The dial on the reverse white enamel too with subsidiary dials for time indication in New York, St. Petersburg, Calcutta, Melbourne, Vienna, Berlin and Paris. Plain case.
