A fine English 18 carat gold and enamel triple cased open faced verge watch made for the Turkish market, circa 1750. Gilt finished verge movement, chain fusée, finely pierced and engraved balance cock and foot, diamond endstone. White enamel dial with Turkish numerals. Plain inner case, polychrome enamel outer case with landscape and lake scene to the reverse, green, red and white champlevé enamel scroll and foliate decorated band, rim and bow, scalloped third case with polychrome enamel floral motif on pink enamel border, clear open back. Dial and movement signed.
