A fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1950. Retailed by Tiffany & Co. Nickel finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, swan neck regulator, wolf’s tooth winding, minute repeating on two gongs. Inscribed gold cuvette reading Presented To Arthur Lawrence Stewart by the Gleason Works on April 8, 1950 to Mark Almost 41 Years of Outstanding Accomplishment in Original Thought Brought to Bear on Engineering Design and Administration 1909-1950. Silvered matte dial, applied baton numerals and subsidiary seconds. Plain case, hinged back. Case, cuvette, dial and movement signed by maker, dial signed by retailer.
