An unusual French silver skull form key wind memento mori watch, 18th Century and later. Gilt full plate fusee verge movement, pierced and engraved winged balance bridge, silver regulation.
White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute track with Arabic numeral 5 minute markers, winding aperture at 2 and blued steel cathedral hands. Polished cranial form case. Comes with silver skull adorned fob chain and key. Movement signed.
