Square silver Loehr perpetual lever watch

A Swiss square silver wind lever pedometer with power reserve indication, circa 1890. Damascened nickle 3/4 plate movement with going barrel wound by an oscillating weight, plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring, club foot lever escapement, automatic winding work set above the plate carries a weight set at the side which oscillates as the wearer walks, safety mechanism to avoid over winding. Numbered silver cuvette engraved with details of the watch unusually clipping inside the body of the case. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiaries for power reserve and seconds and blue steel hands. Square shaped decorative case, chased and engraved with stylised birds of prey to the back, hinged front cover with circular glazed aperture opening to reveal a second glazed bezel and hand set lever, shaped silver bow and gilt winding crown.
