An extraordinary large, provincial hour repeating, probably German pocket watch with hour self strike and spring detent escapement, circa 1830.
Brass gilt, tiered, polished case. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours, jumping centre seconds, and sun hands. 2/3 plate movement, keywind, one hammer, one gong, two barrels, solid circular movement pillars, and three-arm brass balance.
