Very fine and rare, thin French 18K yellow gold hunting cased keyless dress watch, circa 1930. A polished case, coin-edge band and reeded bow hinged and sprung front cover, wide polished bezel. Engine-turned moiré silver dial, radial black Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel spade hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, snail cam micrometre regulator. Dial and movement signed Cartier, Paris, case numbered on the edge of the band and inside the back.
