A rare French verge pocket watch with regulator dial and date, circa 1810.
Silver, tiered, polished case with case maker’s punch mark AB. Signed enamel dial, eccentric hour indicator with Arabic numerals, centre seconds, blue semicircular date ring with Arabic numerals and gilt serpent hand. Full plate movement, keywind, frosted, gilt, signed, with chain/fusee, solid movement pillars, three-arm brass balance, and fine florally engraved and pierced balance bridge.
