An early and rare German silver open faced verge pocket watch, circa 1722-1723. The key wound, florally engraved full plate movement with a verge escapement. Silver champlevé dial with Roman hours, half hour markers, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals, an engraved center and gold hands. The polished case with maker’s mark PR. Dial signed, movement numbered.
