An extremely rare and interesting, large German verge pocket watch with day/night display, calendar and seconds, circa 1780.
Exceptional skeletonized verge movement, signed on the barrel, large balance wheel underneath the sun shaped balance cock. White/blue enamel dial with gold decorations, hour indicator with sun and moon, sub dials for the date, day of the week and seconds, steel hands. Metal case, both sides glazed. Accompanied by gold Breguet key.
