A rarity, one of the rarest gold/enamel form clocks with diamonds and pearls and a visible balance wheel, circa 1810.
Verge escapement, back view of the balance, original suspension with four chains. Gold and enamel case, an absolutely exceptional quality, the front set with half-pearls and a diamond rose, the middle part with integrated hinge, can be opened to the side, underneath the clock with immaculately preserved enamel dial and red gold hands. The shape of the case alone makes this form watch a rarity. However, the pristine condition makes it a museum object.
