A Swiss rare gentleman’s Geneva pocket watch – lever chronometer – with jumping hour indicator, circa 1890. Sold to Bailey Banks & Biddle Co. in Philadelphia.
18 Carat rose gold and polished case with a gold dome. Enamel dial with a window for hour indication, Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds and blued hands. Bridge movement, rhodium-plated, with Geneva Striping, wolfteeth winding wheels, gold screw compensation balance, index spring fine adjusting device and counterpoised Moustache lever. Movement signed, Bailey Banks & Biddle Co. in Philadelphia.
