A rare Swiss 18 carat gold quarter repeating hunting cased pocket watch with quarter-hour and hour strike, Petite Sonnerie and Grande Sonnerie, circa 1880. Bridge movement Piguet Frères, two barrels, two hammers, two gongs, gold screwed compensation balance. White enamel dial with Roman numerals. Case lavishly engraved with Renaissance motives, case maker’s punch mark Waldvogel.
