Large early “Officier” pocket watch

A large early Russian military watch type “Officier”, made by Pavel Buhre in St. Petersburg, Russia, circa 1913. The numbered plain case features an engraved dustcover. The dial features an outer minute and hour track with black Roman hour numerals from 1 to 11 and a red 12 o’clock. The movement is equipped with an inscribed in Cyrillic lever escapement.
The dial and dustcover are signed.

These early, genuine wristwatches of the “1st generation 1910-1915″ are rarely found in such original condition. Before this time, pocket watches were converted into wristwatches.
