A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating watch with concealed erotic automaton, circa 1890. Nickel lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, slide repeat. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, the back lid concealing an erotic automaton comprising a lady and a gentleman heighted with polychrome enamel against a foliate engraved landscape. Case engraved with musical trophy above a blank cartouche framed by strapwork and scrolls.
